'Dirty Dancing' starJennifer Grey has undergone an operation to have a neuromaremoved from her foot.
The 50-year-old actress went under the knife to havethe mass of nervous system tissues removed from her foot aftersuffering agonising pain since winning US TV competition'Dancing With The Stars' in November.
The surgery was a success and she hopes to be back onher feet in no time, reported People magazine online.
"Hard to believe, but I just had my foot operated on,so hopefully I can walk again. Gotta dance. Miss u all. Iguess that's the price of doing business when you dance likethat at my age (sic)," Grey posted on Twitter.
"I had a neuroma the size of a small city removed, Ithink I went down a shoe size on one foot. After Dancing WithThe Stars it just got worse and worse, so do whatcha gotta do.Ain't no thang. Pain is just a feeling. Then it's gone (sic)"she added.
Grey was nearly forced to pull out of the dancecompetition after rupturing a disc in her back, but a minoroperation fixed the injury.
