Jennifer Hudson got emotional while receiving the honour

Actress-singer Jennifer Hudson was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame here.
The 32-year-old received the star on Wednesday, reports eonline.com.
Hudson wore a fitted white dress with a pair of white pointed toe pumps and some silver jewellery.
She later took to the stage and thanked god for her success and her fans for their support.
"I knew I would get emotional and I'm sure my mom is in heaven like 'Jenny stop crying' but now's the time to cry mama, it is," she said.
"This is an amazing honour as we all know and I did not see this coming. I'm so honoured to be here with so many that I love and I feel as though we're all a family," Hudson added.
She also posted a picture of herself posing with her star and honorary plaque on video-sharing website Instagram.
"Just got my star on the Walk Of Fame!! Such an honour," she captioned the photograph.
