Pop star Jennifer Lopez has saidthat she is hoping to find a Latin superstar in her new talentshow Q Viva!The Chosen with her husband Marc Anthony.
The 41-year-old American Idol judge and her husbandsinger Marc Anthony will travel to 21 countries across theAmerica where they will ask local people to help them find"world's most extraordinary talent" for Q'Viva! The Chosen,reported Contactmusic.
"With this show we hope for the first time to uniteall of the Latin cultures and make something that makeseverybody proud. This is like me being able to really, reallygo, 'I am Latina, and this is who we are! Isn't it fabulous?Isn't it amazing? Doesn't it bring tears to your eyes and makeyou want to dance and smile and jump and stay up all night?'",Lopez said.
The couple will work with tour director Jamie King andaccording to Lopez, will travel to "places people wouldn'tnormally look, where all of this rich talent lives andwouldn't normally be discovered," including clubs, bars, dancestudios and festivals.
Anthony added they hope to be "literally guided by the[local] people, leaving no stone unturned".
The people discovered on their travels will be broughtto Hollywood, where they will be mentored by the stars tocreate "the ultimate live show."
"It really is a show for the 21st century. It'sunprecedented in that it's global and it's local. We're goingto do our best make the most amazing show that the world hasever seen," Lopez added.
