The Avengers star Jeremy Renner has confirmed that he got married to his girlfriend Sonni Pacheco.
The 43-year-old actor, who has a daughter Ava Berlin with Sonni, opened up about his secret wedding saying that he wants to protect his wife and family's privacy, reported E!online.
"I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy. I don't need her to get hammered with my life," he said.
"Privacy issues are important because I want her to go about her day without being bothered. Paparazzi follow me around. That's fine. But I don't like being followed when I am with my family. I have been talked about a whole lot, because the less I put out there, the less people know, and it makes it interesting, I assume," he added.
Jeremy Renner is next to appear in Kill the Messenger alongside Andy Garcia, Rosemarie DeWitt, Michael Sheen and Mary Elizabeth Winstead among others.
