The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon was hospitalised to have a minor surgery after injuring his hand.
"Jimmy Fallon was required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning," his rep said in a statement. "He is expected to make a full recovery," he added.

Meanwhile, the recording for the show on June 26 was canceled following the incident. "Hey guys - unfortunately tonight's taping has been canceled due to Jimmy injuring his hand. He's totally fine but we'll be airing a repeat," his rep said.
