John says his upcoming film will surprise the audience

Actor-turned-producer JohnAbraham says his forthcoming film Banana will surprise theaudience and make them nostalgic.
Banana is a slice-of-life film, which traces thejourney from adolescence to teenage.
"We are excited about Sajid Ali being launched as adirector from our banner. Just like people did not expectanything from Vicky Donor, I guarantee people may not expectanything from Banana but I am sure it will bring back a lot ofmemories when you watch it," John told PTI.
The film will mark the debut of Imtiaz Ali's youngerbrother Sajid and go on floors in November-December.John has had a successful run at the box office as aproducer with his two films Vicky Donor and Madras Cafegetting a positive response.
He will next be seen in Anees Bazmee's Welcome Back.The film is a sequel to 2007 hit film Welcome and John isthe new addition in it.
"We have started shooting for Welcome Back and wewill finish it in January. My character is completelydifferent in this film and I am looking forward for theaudience reaction," John said.
He is also working on the sequel of gay comedyDostana, starring him and Abhishek Bachchan."Karan Johar will make the announcement on Dostana.I am not the producer there so I will take a step back.Abhishek and I are very excited about the film," John said.
