Mumbai:
Bollywood actor John Abraham wastoday sentenced to fifteen days' simple imprisonment in a 2006accident case, but was immediately released on bail of Rs 1500by a court here.
The Bandra Magistrate court also imposed a fine of Rs1500 on him.
Abraham's motorbike had skidded and knocked down twopersons in suburban Khan on April 7, 2006. He himself thentook the injured persons -- Shyam Kasbe and Tanmay Majhi -- tothe hospital. The duo was discharged later.
The actor too was injured in the accident. A case ofrash and negligent driving was filed against him.
