John Travolta's Wife And Daughter To Star In 'Gotti' Project

Los Angeles: When John Travolta takes on the role of mob boss John Gotti Sr in the highly anticipated bio-pic, his wife of two decades, actress Kelly Preston, will reprise her role on screen.

The Hollywood pair will play a married couple in the film, with the 48-year-old actress taking on the role of Victoria Gotti.

And making it a real family affair, their daughter, Ella Bleu, 11, will play their on-screen child, Angel Gotti, reported People magazine.

"The love and passion between John and Kelly will bring a huge benefit to John Sr. and his wife, and they have a lot in common. They both lost a child at a young age and they understand what the Gottis went through when the Gottis lost their child," said the film's producer Marc Fiore.

Travolta, 57, who will play the late mafia don in the biopic, has been attached to the project for several months. The film will be shot in New York and it will start filming in January 2012.

Travolta and Preston recently welcomed new son Benjamin into the world, who is now six months old. The couple's son Jett, who suffered from the rare Kawasaki disease, tragically died in 2009 following a seizure aged 16.
