Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has started shooting for Tim Burton's upcoming movie Dark Shadows.
The 48-year-old who is joined by stars Jonny Lee Miller, Chloe Moretz and Helena Bonham Carter is working on the film in UK, said The Hollywood Reporter. The film is the big-screen take on the 1960s gothic vampire TV soap opera. Depp stars as Barnabas Collins, a self-loathing vampire who returns to his human roots in search of his lost love.
The movie is penned by Seth Grahame Smith based on the TV series created by Dan Curtis and is produced by Oscar winners Richard D Zanuck and Graham King.
The cast also includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Bella Heathcote and Jackie Earle Haley.
