Hollywood actor Johnny Depp fumbled and struggled to stand steady while presenting an award at the Hollywood Film Awards in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star appeared to be drunk as he presented the documentary award to Mike Myers' Supermensch: the Legend of Shep Gordon, reported The Guardian.
He took to the stage saying "That's the weirdest microphone I've seen in my life," he said.
Johnny Depp introduced Shep Gordon's documentary in a slurred voice and his speech took a bizarre turn as he said:
"For decades, Shep Gordon has been one of the most beloved and respected talent managers in the music industry. He is also currently the star of the documentary Supermensch - because he is a mensch - and I have been very, very, er ... lucky to have him in my life.
"He's someone I consider a great friend, somebody, uh, yeah, uh, incredibly, uh, loyal, loyal friend. Um. And so, you have to watch the film. Yeah, there you go."
He rambled on for a while adding "I'm not very good at this kind of thing". Johnny Depp also used an expletive in his speech, which was beeped out from the Awards ceremony, televised for the first time.
Other winners at the awards included Benedict Cumberbatch as best actor for The Imitation Game and Morten Tyldum as best director for the film.
