London:
Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp has ruled out marrying his long-term partner Vanessa Paradis as he doesn't want to "ruin" her exotic surname.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has been dating the French beauty since 1998 and the couple have two kids, Contactmusic reported.
Though the 47-year-old actor is ready to make their union official whenever partner Paradis wants to get hitched, he does not want the couple become Mr and Mrs Depp.
"I never found myself needing that piece of paper. Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don't need somebody to say, okay, you're married," said Depp.
"If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not? But the thing is, I'd be so scared of ruining her last name. She's got such a good last name," he added.
