London:
Hollywood's Most Valuable Player Johnny Depp has spoken out about his fondness for screen alter ego Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
The 47-year-old Hotness Hall of Famer, will reprise his role as the swashbuckling hero in On Stranger Tides, the fourth film in the Pirates franchise, and relishes playing the quirky character as there no boundaries or limits to his antics, Contactmusic reported.
"You can do whatever you want, essentially. He's a free spirit," said Depp.
The superstar also accepts that his love for the character can be problematic as he is never ready to to let go of a scene and will perform it multiple times.
"The problem is with me is that I enjoy every scene to the point where the director is saying, 'Do you have this yet, are you done?'," said the actor.
Depp showed his love by putting in a surprise appearance dressed as Jack Sparrow at a London school in response to a request by a schoolgirl who wrote a letter to him.
He has also dressed up as the outlaw pirate for other charity events, including a visit to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital. Savvy?
