Los Angeles: Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska have been confirmed to feature in the sequel of Alice In Wonderland. The two will be reprising their roles as The Mad Hatter and Alice respectively.
Directed by Tim Burton, Disney's Alice In Wonderland was a hit in 2010.
For the sequel, The Muppets director James Bobin will be replacing Burton, while Joe Roth, Jennifer Todd and Suzanne Todd will be producing the movie, reports contactmusic.com.
The film is scheduled to release on May 27, 2016.
The first movie was a hit worldwide and grossed a total of $1.02 billion in the year of its release.
