New Delhi:
Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2 is racing towards the 100 crore mark with double speed. The movie opened to make Rs 16.10 crore on Friday, made over 20 crores on each of the days over the weekend, along with Rs 8 and 6 crores on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Judwaa 2's box office report card currently reads Rs 92.02 crore and counting, reported trade analyst Taran Adarsh. On Wednesday, Varun's movie was also considered to be in a league close to that of Baahubali. "Judwaa2 heading for Rs 98 cr / Rs 100 cr Week 1... Week 2 crucial... Will it emerge HIGHEST GROSSER of 2017, after #Baahubali2? Hindi films," Mr Adarsh had tweeted.

In his review for NDTV, film critic Raja Sen writes: "I like young Dhawan. I enjoy his work in movies as disparate as Badlapur and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, but in Judwaa 2 he isn't allowed to do his own thing. Instead, he's trying to match a marvellously inane Salman Khan performance."
Once Judwaa 2 scores the Rs 100 crore bounty, it will become the second Bollywood movie to have done so this year. Akshay Kumar's Toilet Ek Prem Katha took a little over a week to make it to the 100 crore mark.
Judwaa 2 also stars Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez as Varun Dhawan's two heroines. It is a sequel to Salman Khan's 1997 cult comedy Judwaa and is also directed by Varun's father David Dhawan, who helmed the first part. Salman Khan features in a cameo in Judwaa 2.
