Varun Dhawan is eagerly awaiting the release of his next film
Judwaa 2, co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez. The 30-year-old actor is currently in Jaipur to launch the iconic song
Oonchi Hai Building, which is a recreation of the original Anu Malik song from the 1997 blockbuster
Judwaa, starring Salman Khan and Karisma. The elated actor shared a picture on social media ahead of the song's launch which features his
ABCD 2 co-star Shraddha Kapoor and Taapsee. In the picture, the
Ek Villain actress is seen embracing the
Judwaa 2 stars as they happily pose for the camera. "I ran into my friend who has always been lucky for me @shraddhakapoor. Haven't been able to hang with her much lately, but it's so nice to see how hard she's working and how nice a person she still is. This girl is always positive," wrote Varun Dhawan.

Varun's father David Dhawan has directed the
Judwaa films. The
Badlapur actor will be seen portraying a dual role in
Judwaa 2 - Raja and Prem, which were originally played by Salman in the first part.
The makers of
Judwaa 2 unveiled the trailer of the film on August 21 which received a lot of appreciation from the audience.
Salman Khan tweeted in support of the film by sharing the trailer of the movie on his Twitter account and wrote, "
Judwaa 1 tweeting for
Judwaa 2," to which Varun responded and tweeted, "You will always be the original
judwaa bhai."
Salman Khan will make a cameo in
Judwaa 2. The film is scheduled for release on September 22.
