Los Angeles:
A red brick Bel-Air home once owned by Hollywood legend Judy Garland is hitting the market for $7.1 million.
The house is being sold by philanthropist Stephanie Booth Murray, great-great granddaughter of the first Los AngelesTimes editor.
Murray acquired it February 24, 2011, and has embarked on a thorough renovation of the five-bedroom residence, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Famed Southern California architect Wallace Neff designed the Stone Canyon Road residence for Garland in 1938 - the same year the actress was cast as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, her most iconic role.
Garland moved into the five-bedroom house in 1939 and lived at the property for nearly a decade with her mother.
Later, it was rented to both Quincy Jones and the late Marvin Gaye.
