London:
Cheryl Cole wishes she had been stuck in a lift with Justin Bieber over the weekend.
The Call My Name singer felt like she had missed out when she heard about the teenage heartthrob being caught in an elevator at Capital FM's Summertime Ball.
The 18-year-old was trapped at the Wembley event on Saturday and Cheryl admitted that she felt whoever was with him at the time was very fortunate.
She told The Sun: "Unfortunately I wasn't there but I'm sure whoever was had a good time."
Cheryl, 28, continued to divulge that Justin has blossomed into a wonderful young gentleman. She added: "He's so cute - he's gone from being this little boy into a young man."
Cheryl recently insisted she is not singing about ex-husband Ashley Cole in one of her new songs.
The hitmaker split from the soccer player in 2010 amid claims he had cheated on her with several women and despite the way they broke up, Cheryl says she would never sing about her feelings for him in a song.
Responding to claims album track Screw You - which features lyrics such as I don't want you no more, I loved you so much but you never gave a *f**k - is about Ashley, Cheryl said: "I didn't have him in mind. But I can see how it is interpreted that way, of course."
