London:
He has some 9 million followers on Twitter but teen pop sensation Justin Beiber has decided to retire from the micro-blogging website.
The 17-year-old who is currently on the Israel leg of his world tour, announced that he is taking a break from tweeting to spend more time with his family.
"I'm just excited at this point to get on stage and perform, gonna take a little break from twitter and enjoy this time with my family," tweeted the 'Baby' hit maker.
The Canadian singer has previously complained about the Israeli paparazzi writing, "They should be ashamed of themselves. Take pictures of me eating but not in a place of prayer, ridiculous. You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places. All I wanted was the chance to walk where jesus did here in Israel (sic)."
On Monday, April 11, Beiber had landed in Tel-Aviv and was scheduled to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and take a tour in the capital city before his performance on Thursday night.
But during his break, where he enjoyed sunbathing at the beach, the teen idol got hounded by the paparazzi.
He posted a series of agonizing tweets, showing his disappointment towards the paparazzi in Israel.
Because of the unpleasant incident, Beiber was reportedly forced to cancel his meeting schedule with the Prime Minister.
