New Delhi:
Justin Bieber accidentally gave a fan his Much Music Video Award on Sunday night.
The 18-year-old singer made the mistake when he won the accolade for UR Fave Artist over the weekend and went to greet the crowds.
When he went to show off his trophy to the crowds, apparently the pop star got confused when he approached screaming fans and one of them latched onto his prize.
Due to the fact one girl held onto the award so tightly, he was convinced she must be an official staff member for the Toronto ceremony and would hand the item back to him later.
However the lucky fan wasn't and was later asked to return the small statue by a real worker at the Canadian event.
The lady in question did give the trophy back however Justin is said to feel bad for her and wants to trace her down to present her with a replica, according to TMZ.com.
It comes after a video posted on website HollywoodLife.com saw Justin tell waiting fans at the city's airport: "Do I not have any right as a human being to wait for my own girlfriend? Why do you have to be so impatient?"
