Justin Beiber gave his mother a special birthday surprise by serenading her during a concert but when she got on stage to cut the cake, her hair caught fire from the candles.
Pattie Mallette, Beiber's mother and manager, who turned 35, was greeted by a cheering crowd in Berlin. Mallette was surprised when her son called her on stage at the end of his concert and presented a cake.
But the 17-year-old pop star was really shocked when he noticed his mom's hair was on fire.
As his audience sang 'Happy Birthday' to Mallette, she leaned in a little too close as she blew out her candles. Bieber quickly noticed a few strands of her hair had caught on fire and immediately patted down Mallette's mane.
He later Tweeted about the incident, "Sick show in Berlin brought studiomama on stage 2 sing her happy bday but she lit her hair on fire with the candles. lol. i aved her (sic)."
