Teen pop sensation Justin Bieberhas become the first person to get 40 million Twitterfollowers.
The 19-year-old Beauty And A Beat hitmaker, who joinedthe micro-blogging site in 2009, has beaten other stars,including Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, to the milestone.
"40 million strong... Beliebers thank you. I love you andI am grateful (sic)," Bieber posted on Twitter.
Bieber's Twitter record comes soon after White HouseDown actor Channing Tatum revealed he was worried about theyoung singer.
The 33-year-old actor thinks the Baby hitmaker, who wasdiscovered at the age of 14, found fame too young and hopes hedoesn't go off the rails like many child stars do.
"I do believe that whatever age you become famous, you endup staying that age. I worry about Bieber, man. That kid'swildly talented. I hope he doesn't fall down into the usualways of young kids because it' so hard for someone to beresponsible when they're not asked to be," Tatum said.
