Popstar-turned-actor JustinTimberlake has landed a role in a dramatic thriller Runner,Runner opposite actor Ben Affleck.
The Brad Furman-directed online gambling film will be the31-year-old actor's second high-end film after he bagged arole opposite Clint Eastwood in Trouble with the Curve,reported Ace Showbiz.
The film will be set in a USD 30 billion world of illegalonline gambling. The screenplay is written by duo BrianKoppelman and David Levien, who also wrote 1998's Roundersabout the underground world of high-stakes poker.
Timberlake will next be seen in Coen brothers' folk musicfilm Inside Llewyn Davis.
Affleck, on the other hand, is finishing his latestdirectorial debut Argo, which will hit the US theaters onOctober 12.
