Soon after the teaser released, #KabaliTeaser started trending on Twitter. The trailer clocked close to a lakh and fifty thousand likes and around fifty three thousand views in four hours.
There is a buzz among his fans that the Kabali teaser could exceed actor Vijay's recent teaser of Theri, which has crossed one crore views and three lakh likes on YouTube. The superstar has 2.9 million followers on Twitter.
The minute-long teaser of Kabali features a dashing Rajinikanth, dressed in a grey suit, who is ready to take on the world. At a conference, when Rajinikanth is asked how he became a gangster, he simply laughs and that expression will send a chill down your spine.
The leading lady, Radhika Apte appears in a single shot, traditionally dressed in a sari.
