Noted actor and funnyman Kader Khan, best known for his perfected slapstick in David Dhawan films alongside Govinda, is all set for a television comeback with a new comedy serial Hi! Padosi... Kaun Hai Doshi?.
Khan was earlier seen on the small screen in Hasna Mat.
Directed by Sunil Prasad of Kumkum fame, the soap is ready to be aired from January 24 on Sahara One.
The serial is a story of two neighbours living on the same floor.
One is Gujarati Hansmukh Lal Mehta and another one Harvansh Lal Mehta from Punjab. As name plates of both carry the same initials, H L Mehta, it creates confusion for everyone and leads to a situation full of laughter.
"It is a comedy serial and I have tried to show the confusion and trouble it creates for a simple man," Prasad said.
The serial also stars Sanjeeda Sheikh of Kya Hoga Nimmoo Ka? fame, Sejal Shah, Giriraj Kabra, Muni Jha, Nilu Kohli, Govind Khatri, Gulfam Khan and Govind Bole.
