Mumbai: The three male leads of Kai Po Che! are so busy with the promotion of the film here that they will have to miss the red carpet at the Berlin International Film Festival, where the movie will have its world premiere.
The 11-day film Berlin film festival starts on February 7, and Abhishek Kapoor-directed Kai Po Che!, a big screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller "The 3 Mistakes of My Life" about three friends and the ups and downs in their lives, has its first screening scheduled for February 13.
Confirming the same, a spokesperson from UTV Motion Pictures said: "Abhishek Kapoor will be at the Berlin film festival where Kai Po Che! will have the world premiere."
"Unfortunately, Sushant Singh, Amit Sadh and Rajkumar Yadav cannot travel for the premiere because they are promoting the film in India. Berlin travel was taking up four days from the domestic promotion schedule and it was mutually decided that the star cast will boost promotions in India," added the source.
