Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has been admitted to Chennai's Apollo Hospital with symptoms of food poisoning.
The 59-year-old actor is reported to be stable and he will be discharged either today or tomorrow, depending on his condition, his office told NDTV.
"Kamal sir was admitted to Apollo hospital due to food poisoning this (Tuesday) morning. He is perfectly fine and there's nothing to worry. He will be discharged by evening or tomorrow morning," Kamal's manager Nikil Murugan told IANS
They have also rubbished reports of the actor suffering from any neurological ailments. The hospital authorities are tight lipped about the situation.
Mr Haasan is the star of films like Dasavathaaram, Vishwaroopam, Chachi 420, Saagar, Sadma among many others. He has also directed, written and choreographed multiple films.
