Kangana and Bipasha were approached for the show Ishq Kills

Actresses Kangana Ranaut, BipashaBasu and Mahie Gill, who were approached for an upcoming TVshow about forbidden relationships, have refused to host it.
Ishq Kills is an upcoming episodic series primarilyabout love stories gone wrong."We were in talks with Bipasha Basu to come on board.She was very keen on television but found it toounconventional and preferred a dance reality show. KanganaRanaut and Mahie Gill too were approached but their shootingschedules did not match. Now, director Vikram Bhatt has beenroped in as the host of the series," sources told PTI.
The show, likely to feature love stories betweena doctor and a patient, an employer and a domestic servant etc,will be aired on Star Plus channel from February 16.
"Star Plus will launch Ishq Kills. The show bringsto the forefront a series of forbidden love stories that gobeyond the traditional norms of society. The stories willcapture relationships never explored, beyond the norms of themoral code of the society," the source said.
"It is inspired by true events. It will be like aBhatt film. The show will include a fresh cast andstoryline in every episode," the source added.
Director Vishal Mahdkar will direct the show whileShagufta Rizvi has penned a few stories for it.
