Kangana at a special screening of Tanu Weds Manu Returns in Mumbai
Mumbai:
There's no "right" age to get married, says actress Kangana Ranaut, who is currently basking in the success of her latest hit Tanu Weds Manu Returns and is in no mood to "give away" her "position" in the film industry as of now.
"Marriage is hard work. I have worked hard for ten years and I don't have time to build equations. I am in a place where I can secure my position and have a good future; I don't want to give it away," the National Award-winning actress said here.
"When love happens, it happens just like that. Just because you are 28 years old, it doesn't mean you have to get married and have kids," she said.
Kangana, for whom Tanu Weds Manu Returns has turned out to be a double bonanza after Queen, says she feels that a new journey has started for her.
"There is a time when you struggle to prove yourself worthy of what you rightfully deserve, and then comes a time when that struggle is over. Then there is struggle to explore, transcend your limit and go to the next level. I am going to stage two now," she said.
Produced by Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions, and directed by Aanand L Rai, Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a sequel to 2011's Tanu Weds Manu. The film also co-stars R Madhavan.
