Actress Kangana Ranaut is ready totake the next step in Bollywood and go behind the camera todirect a feature film.
Earlier, the 26-year-old National award winner haddirected a short film written in collaboration with anAustralian writer and shot in the US. The film revolves arounda four-year-old boy and a dog.
"I have directed a short film in the US... but I want todirect a full-fledged feature film as well. But for that Ineed some time to prepare... may be a year. Right now I amworking on multiple projects. This is not the right time sowhen I find the time I will do it. But direction is definitelyon the cards for sure," Kangana told PTI.
Ask her what she would like to capture on celluloid as adirector, the actress said, "I am interested in making abiography but I can't reveal on whom."Usually, we see actresses turning producers butproduction is something that is not on her mind at all."No... not production, it is not my cup of tea," sheadded.
Kangana will be seen next in superhero science fictionfilm Krrish 3."It (character) is alien cum superwoman cum Tomb Raidercum cat-woman sort of a role named Kaaya. I have anunconventional look. I am sexy but wicked. A lot of effort wasput into achieving the desired look for the film. It was quitechallenging," she said.
The film directed by Rakesh Roshan will continue thestory of Rohit Mehra and his superhero son Krrish. This is thethird film of the Krrish film series. It stars Hrithik Roshan,Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana in the lead.She has also bagged a slew of interesting projects likeUngli, Queen, Revolver Rani and Rajjo.
Queen is a comedy-drama film directed by Vikas Bahlfeaturing Kangana and Rajkumar Yadav. Revolver Rani isdirected by Sai Kabir and produced by Tigmanshu Dhulia andRahul Mittra. The film is said to be an action with popularstand-up comedian turned actor Vir Das playing the lead role.In Rajjo she plays a nautch girl which is directed bynewcomer Vishwas Patil.
