Kangana says the ups and downs in her career have been worth it
Mumbai: National-award winning actressKangana Ranaut, who registered her first hit this year withShootout at Wadala, says the ups and downs in her filmycareer have all been worth it as she got to work with bignames and bigger projects.

After tasting success with Gangster, Fashion, OnceUpon A Time In Mumbai, Raaz-2 and Tanu Weds Manu, the26-year-old also went through her share of flops in Tezz,Miley na Miley Hum, Knock Out, No Problem and Rascalsamong others. But this year looks promising to her as shehas an interesting range of movies lined up for release.

"I have been very lucky to have worked with some of thebiggest names and been part of some interesting projects. Myjourney has been a roller coaster but it has all been worthit," Kangana told PTI in an interview here.Ask her how she deals with success and failure, she says,"I don't let the two of them get to my head."

In Shootout at Wadala, Kangana played the love interestof gangster Manya Surve, essayed by John Abraham."I am glad that the film has done well. And ironicallyin films where I have played a gangster's moll have beensuccesses. But I don't read too much into it. I'm an actor andat the end of the day delivering a good solid performance ismy priority," she said.

The actress is gearing up to play a nautch girl in hernext film Rajjo, to be directed by newcomer Vishwas Patil.The film will trace the journey of a nautch girl who goes onto become a classical dancer.

"There was a lot of research that went into my role forRajjo. I have visited kothas and met with women workingthere to understand their body language and mindset," shesaid.

Next, she would be seen in Vikas Bahl's Queen. The filmreportedly will see Kangana playing the role of a small towngirl whose boyfriend ditches her right before their marriage. "Its an exciting role about a girl from Delhi who setsout on her honeymoon all by herself. I had a great timeshooting for Queen and it's different from what I have donebefore," she said.

Apart from this, she will be seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia'shome production film Revolver Rani and Rakesh Roshan's muchtalked about Krrish 3.
