New Delhi:
Kangana Ranaut vs Hrithik Roshan is turning out to more engrossing than a Bollywood potboiler and, as the actors exchange legal notices and allegations, social media is thrilled by the complicated feud that the rumoured romance between the Krrish 3 co-stars has decayed into. Twitter found this bit particularly funny - Kangana reportedly sent 1439 emails to Hrithik.
The 1439th mail was quite unnecessary, agreed most of Twitter. Here are just a few of the jokes and GIFs that have inundated timelines:

For those who need a refresher, here's the kahaani ab tak in the Hrithik-Kangana battle:
Infuriated by Kangana's 'silly ex' comment to a tabloid, the 42-year-old actor sent the actress a legal notice asking her to apologise and clarify in a press conference that it was not him she meant. Around the same time he also tweeted:
In response, Kangana, 28, who is not on social media, sent a 21-page notice to the actor charging him with "intimidation and threat," dismissing his demand for an apology as "baseless."
On Thursday, an unnamed friend of the Queen actress revealed explosive details about Hrithik and Kangana to Mumbai Mirror. The disclosures included the claims that Hrithik had proposed to Kangana in 2014, allegedly hacked her mail, had her shadowed and accused the outspoken actress of having Asperger's Syndrome. The same day, Hrithik issued a statement saying that he "followed the legal path to resolve the matter in question so as to keep it private." He denounced Kangana's friend's claims about Asperger's Syndrome, saying: "I believe that mental health is a grave and crucial issue which merits serious discussion. I would never address it flippantly nor use it as a personal attack." (Also Read: What Hrithik Roshan Says About Feud With Kangana)
Hrithik also alleged that an imposter had been sending mails to Kangana pretending to be him: "The crux of the matter is that the mail id hroshan@email.com does NOT belong to me. I had filed a complaint in this regard with Mumbai Cyber Crime cell on 12 December, 2014 when I learnt of this impersonator communicating with said person. I have absolutely NO CONNECTION with this ID. My complaint was reactivated on March 5, 2016."
Hours after Hrithik issued this statement, Kangana's lawyer told news agency PTI: "Hrithik's statements made to the media are nothing but efforts to gain public sympathy. He cannot wash his hands off the matter now after having criminally threatened my client and having intimidated her, without any provocation." Hrithik will be next seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Mohenjo Daro and also has Kaabil and Victor in the pipeline.
Kangana is making Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
