Los Angeles:
Rapper Kanye West has added the ultimate accessory to his rock star life, diamond teeth.
The Stronger hitmaker replaced the bottom row of his teeth with diamonds, because he thought they were "cooler".
The rapper showed off the sparkling diamond and gold implants during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"I just thought that diamonds were cooler. It's really my real teeth. I replaced my bottom row of teeth. I guess there's just certain things that rock stars are supposed to do," he told the host.
His earlier claims to have replaced his teeth were met by scepticism, with fans doubting that even he would do such a thing. But it seems they may have underestimated the controversial star.
The show was West's first TV interview since he famously interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs.
The rapper said that his whole world "completely crashed" because of the backlash received after the incident and he left US to sort himself out.
"I left America. I stopped doing music altogether. I just took some time. I went to Japan just so I could get away from paparazzi altogether. Then in November I moved to Rome and just lived there, and when I came back to the States I moved to Hawaii. I lived there for about six months and just worked on music," said West.
