Rapper Kanye West has reportedly turned down the offer to be a judge on singing reality show American Idol for the upcoming season.
West, 36, , is said to have decided not to be a part of the talent hunt show because he is worried it might hurt his reputation, reported Us magazine.
"He didn't want to go that mainstream. He didn't want to lose any street cred. So he turned it down," a source said.
