The producer of Netflix's Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, Karan Johar recently hosted a reunion interview for Netflix on the platform's YouTube channel. While discussing the various aspects of the show, Karan revealed in an emotional moment that he lives in the constant fear that his kids Yash and Roohi will someday find out that he's a single parent and they will have a lot of questions.

"They will find out things and I will have to be answerable. Being a single parent, I know I am answerable to my children about so many aspects," Karan said to Neelam Kothari during the interview.

For the uninitiated, Neelam had opened up to Ekta Kapoor on the show about her abusive first marriage to businessman Rishi Sethia. She said, "I was told to wear Indian clothes, give up non-veg, and don't drink. I was fine with everything, but changing my identity, that is something I was not okay with. I reached a point where I questioned myself, 'How am I allowing this?'"

In the same conversation, the actress also shared how her daughter found out about the divorce online, mentioning that this is not how she would have wanted her to find out. Looking back on the moment, she said, "I came home from work, and Ahana was with her friends. Normally, they're jumping around, screaming and shouting. But this time, there was pin-drop silence. Ahana came to me and asked, 'Mama, you never told me you were divorced.'"

At the reunion interview, Karan brought up this part of the show and confessed that it made him emotional. "That really moved me because I remember those days so clearly. I really teared up, I was actually connecting to it on an emotional level. You spoke about your daughter and that's also something that struck a chord with me. My constant fear is that I also have to deal with those questions from my own children, about my circumstances and that I have a modern family situation." he said.

Karan Johar became a parent to twins Yash and Roohi who were born through surrogacy in 2017. He often shares pictures and glimpses of fun moments with his kids on Instagram.
