Filmmaker Karan Johar hosted an ‘Ask Karan Anything' session on Threads. He replied to questions regarding his personal life, his biggest regret, Dharma-SRK collaboration and a lot more queries regarding work and life. In a post on Threads, Karan wrote, “AKA! Ask Karan Anything! Happy to answer legit questions that make me gush and blush not flush! Am here for 10 minutes my threaders!” Karan, who is all set to make a directorial comeback with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, was also quizzed about some details of the film. One of the users asked whether the filmmaker will be making a cameo in the film. “Are you gonna do a cameo in Rocky Aur Rani (Kii Prem Kahaani),” read the question. To this, Karan Johar had a hilarious reply. He said, “No I want the film to be a success.”
Another user asked the director: “You are gay, right?” Replying to the individual, Karan said, “You're interested?”
When asked about his biggest regret, Karan revealed that he regrets not being able to direct his favourite actor, the late Sridevi. “I never got to work with and direct my favourite actor Sridevi ma'am,” he said.
Another fan asked Karan Johar, “What would you advise to a 20yr old who wants to be a movie maker like you?” To this, the filmmaker replied, “Don't listen to naysayers! It's possible so believe manifest and be educated in film before you deep dive into it.”
A person even questioned Karan Johar on any upcoming “Dharma and SRK collaboration.” “Dharma and SRK collaboration happen in future?” read the question. And, Karan replied, "Ask me no secrets will tell you no lies.”
With Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar will mark his return to the director's chair after nearly seven years. The film stars Gully Boy co-stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead. The ensemble star cast also includes Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will hit the theatres on July 28.
