Their friendship is a part of Bollywood lore, but actor Kajol dismisses the idea of making filmmaker Karan Johar a 'rakhi brother'.
"Karan is my friend and have always felt that connection with him. Definition of a friend for me is somebody that youchose and not someone you are born with. Karan is more than a brother. It's a unique and fantastic friendship which I amgrateful to have in my life," Kajol told PTI.
The actress who is expecting her second child with husband Ajay Devgn, will next be seen in the Karan Joharproduction We Are Family.
"Friendships, relationships comes from the heart and Rakhi is a great way to reaffirm that with your brothers. But,if you do not tie a rakhi, it does not makes you a less friend or less of a relationship," she said.
Speaking about her plans for 'Raksha Bandhan' celebrations, Kajol said her daughter Nysa will enjoy the day with her many cousins.
"They are all coming home tomorrow and we are having a party," she said.
