Karan Johar is one happy man. Alia Bhatt, who considers the director her mentor, got married to the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor. Needless to say, Karan Johar was an integral part of the wedding festivities. From the Mehendi to the post-wedding bash, the director has been dropping glimpses on social media much to the delight of fans. On Sunday, Karan Johar offered us sneak peeks of the post-wedding bash organised at Vastu – the apartment complex that also witnessed the wedding ceremony. The party, which was held on Saturday night, saw the who's who of Bollywood in attendance and sharing a picture, Karan Johar said that he was “surrounded by love.”

So who was a part of this happy circle? Karan Johar's post on Instagram Stories shows the director-producer in the company of his long-time bestie Gauri Khan, newlyweds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, directors Ayan Mukerji and Abhishek Varman who have been associated with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for years and producer Aarti Shetty.

That's not all. Karan Johar also dedicated a special post to his dear friend Karisma Kapoor. The duo posed for a selfie, pouting like true superstars. Along with the photo, Karan Johar wrote, “Lolo,” with a heart emoji. For the unversed, Lolo is Karisma Kapoor's pet name.

While we are on the subject of Karan Johar, might we add that the director put his best fashion foot forward at Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding.  Opting to wear friend Manish Malhotra's designs, Karan Johar looked dapper in a blingy oversized jacket for the party on Saturday. Sharing a set of pictures, he wrote, “Bling Is King. Disco ball alert.”

Replying to the post, Kajol -- another close friend of the director --  said, “I think I have a similar jacket. We can twin.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor began dating on the sets of Brahmastra, which is directed by Ayan Mukerji and producer by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The much-awaited film is slated to release on September 9 with a star cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan and Akkineni Nagarjuna.
