After grooming newbies Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan for his last film, we hear that KJo has taken another young aspiring actor under his wings.
Sources say that Arjun Kapoor's cousin brother Mohit Marwah is all set make his Bollywood entry. The young lad who was spotted at Karan's birthday party last year along with the Kapoor family grabbed a lot of eyeballs with his looks.
Mohit is the son of Reena and Sandeep Marwah. Reena is Boney Kapoor's sister.
A source says, "Throughout the party Mohit was seen tagging along with Karan. He has done a short film titled Strangers In the Night with Karan's production house, which was directed by Shakun Batra. Both Karan Johar and Shakun were completely blown away by his performance."
Those close to the aspiring actor say that Mohit studied theatre in New York. The source adds, "He's inherited the good looks of the Kapoors."
A friend of the newbie states, "Mohit has been receiving a lot of film offers but he wants to take things easy."
