Filmmaker Karan Johar has announced his next project yet-untitled project which will be helmed by Shakun Batra.
KJo, known for his glamourous family entertainers like Student of The Year, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham announced the news on Twitter and also praised Shakun's ability to weave a story in "two months".

KJo refused to comment on reports that Shakun's project could bring actors Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan together and instead said that the speculations would end soon with an official announcement.
Meanwhile, Shakun Batra promised a surprise from the actual plot of the film.

His previous film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, featuring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, which was also produced by KJo, failed to make a mark at the box office.
