Mumbai: After initially refusing to perform on her new Dabangg 2 item song for a television show, Kareena Kapoor finally agreed to do the act after Salman Khan intervened.

A television channel had approached the actress to perform on the song for their special show for December 31. A source from the channel says, "Yes, we had approached Kareena but there were talks about which song she would perform on.
She refused to green-light Fevicol and it was unanimously decided to drop her from the show."However, it was only after Salman had a chat with Bebo that she finally agreed to do her act. The source adds, "She even took a pay cut for Salman. The performance has already been recorded and it took place without any glitch."
