Kareena Kapoor Reacts To Amul's The Buckingham Murders Topical: "You Made My Year"

Kareena Kapoor has plenty of reasons to celebrate, as her film The Buckingham Murders continues to garner attention. While the film received mixed reviews upon its release, it received a sweet nod from Amul, which featured the movie in one of its iconic topicals, leaving Kareena feeling proud of the Hansal Mehta-directed project. In the Amul post, a caricature of Kareena dressed as a detective is shown. She is seen holding a spoon filled with butter, with utensils and more butter placed around her. The text "Baking with Makhan" written alongside the image adds a playful twist to her character in the film.

Expressing her gratitude, Kareena re-shared the post on her Instagram handle. She wrote, " writing, "So humbled and honoured our film is getting the love, my first film as a producer, a film I am so so proud of acting in. Thank you @amul_india. You made my year. 25 (sic)."

The film had its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2023, and was released theatrically in India on September 13, 2024. The Buckingham Murders also stars Ranveer Brar, Rukku Nahar and Ash Tandon among others. Directed by Hansal Mehta, it is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.

Before this, Kareena was seen in Crew. The film also starred Kriti Sanon and Tabu in key roles.
