It looks like the mystery around Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's forthcoming wedding just got deeper.
While previously the couple was slated to tie the knot in October, but Saif Ali Khan recently surprised the media by announcing that the wedding had been pushed back to the year-end.
Now, buzz is that instead of Pataudi, the wedding may not take place in India at all.
The groom's mother Sharmila Tagore apparently was overheard telling someone that the wedding venue may move across continents -- to London.
According to sources: "The reason could be that the family wants to avoid media frenzy that happens around most celebrity weddings in the country."
A source close to the family adds, "The entire Pataudi family will be going to Bhopal next week and that is when the exact venue and date will be decided."
According to the sources, another reason why the Pataudis want the wedding to take place in London is because Saif wants everything to be very quiet. Another source says, "Saif cannot decide who to invite and who to leave out from the guest list. So, he wants to head to London."
Incidentally, while earlier Saif's sister Soha Ali Khan didn't hesitate speaking about the wedding, even on Twitter, suddenly now she seems to have taken a vow of silence. To our message regarding the change of the wedding venue, her prompt response was, 'No comment.' Kareena's spokesperson told us, "We will announce to the whole world when the wedding takes place."
