Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, whois a regular feature as the show-stopper at fashion shows, hassaid that her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, stays away fromramp walk as he does not like it much.
"He is now in Chandigarh. He is working. We (Saifand I) walked for Manish once. He doesn't like taking the ramptoo much. He is quite excited when I walk the ramp year afteryear," Kareena told PTI.
Kareena walked the ramp on March 16 as a show stopperfor the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week. This time shewalked for designer Rajesh Pratap Singh.
"It is great that Lakme has chosen me as their brandambassador. For the last five years, I've walked the ramp forthem for the grand finale. It is synergy that is synonymouswith Kareena now. I wait year after year for them to come withfantastic designers, this time they had Rajesh Pratap Singh,"she said.
"It is great to walk the ramp as I am an actor and nota model. But it is one night in the year when I feel I am inParis," she added.
Kareena said she does not feel nervous any longerwhile walking the ramp."Whatever I do, I do with the utmost passion," sheadded.
Talking about what she was wearing, Kareena says, "Itis very futuristic and dramatic. But it is very comfortable towear, I can walk the ramp freely."
She said her style lies in the fact that she isconfident and never follows leading trends but lives life onher terms."I am most comfortable in track pants and T-shirts. Mywardrobe is casual and that is the way I am. But it is fun todress up once in a while," she added.
LFW, which began on March 12, ended on March 16.
