Actress Kareena Kapoor, who plays a political journalist in Satyagraha, will emulate her character in the movie for real and go de-glam during the promotions of the Prakash Jha film.
Kareena is usually seen in a glamorous look. But in the movie, she sports a simple kurta, a pair of jeans and a stole.
She will remain in the character's look for the promotions, which will begin a month before the film hits the screens on August 30, said a source.
This will be different from usual promotional events where Bollywood celebrities put their best foot forward in terms of fashion at public and media events.
Recently, Vidya Balan was seen promoting her film Ghanchakkar in character as a loud Punjabi homemaker.
