Following the new rules on smoking scenes in the films, Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar said his upcoming film 'Heroine' will have an anti-smoking advertisement.
Recently, the Centre informed the Supreme Court thatit was bringing a new notification to regulate smoking scenes in films and television programmes.
The notification would allow the smoking scenes, with statutory warnings alongside. Also, the film will have a20-second anti-smoking promo at the beginning and again after the interval.
"In the beginning, Kareena will address the warning, and also for the interval part as well. We are implementing it (new rules)," Bhandarkar told reporters here. Kareena said, "I have recorded the voice for the beginning of the film. For the interval I will be doing it soon... I am happy with this."
The title track of 'Heroine' was launched today. "This song is for the classes, while 'Halkat jawani' (another song in the film) is for masses," Kareena said.
As the film releases on September 21, Kareena is quite excited but insists she has not set any box office target. "Wehave not fixed any target, we want people to see the film and enjoy it. We are very excited about it. We are eager to know about the fate of the film," she said.
Kareena said her actor beau Saif Ali Khan is also excited about Heroine. "He is very excited. He loved the promos. Heis very supportive," she said.
Meanwhile, the promo of Aamir Khan's much-talked about suspense film `Talaash' will officially come out with Heroine.
Talaash is my most special film because I am coming again on screen with Aamir Khan after 3 Idiots. I am a bigfan of Aamir's. His promo in my film is a great thing," Kareena said.
When asked if she is upset because Salman Khan-starrer spy thriller Ek Tha TigerAgent Vinod, Kareena said she is not.
"Both Saif and I don't think that way. We both are fans of Salman. He is the tiger of industry."
