Ever since Karan Johar acquired the film rights for the novel Immortals of Meluha, there has been much talk about which stars would step into the shoes of Shiva and Sati -- the protagonists of the novel.
After reports came out that Hrithik Roshan could play the role of Lord Shiva in the movie, we now tell you that Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are pitted against each other to play Sati.
According to our source: "The rumour mills have been suggesting names like Vidya Balan, Priyanka and even Katrina to play Sati. Now, the battle is between Kareena and Priyanka."
While Kareena has been a favourite with the Karan Johar camp, Priyanka has delivered two hits for the filmmaker, with Dostana and Agneepath. And with Bebo and Priyanka having engaged in very public bashing of each other on Karan's TV chat show, it only remains to be seen in whose favour the scales will tip.
