Chennai : Tamil actor Karthi, who has dubbed for his brother Suriya for the first time in the Telugu-dubbed version of Maattrraan, wished he was born conjoined with his brother after watching the film, director K.V. Anand said.
"Karthi was so touched by the film that he wished he was born as conjoined twin to his brother Suriya," Anand said at an event.
"Maattrraan is a very emotional film and it will explore a sensitive relationship between two brothers who play conjoined twins," Suriya added.
The 37-year-old actor has dubbed for the first time in Telugu for one of the twins, while brother Karthi has dubbed for the other.
"I did not learn Telugu for the film. I was taught by a dubbing artist called Sashank who's been dubbing since he was in Class 9," the actor added.
Maattrraan, directed by K.V. Anand, is releasing as 'Brothers' in Telugu and it is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment.
