After making cult classics such as Dev.D and Udaan, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has teamed up with UTV Spotboy to make a comedy film.
UTV Spotboy and Anurag have reunited for Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana. The shooting started in Punjab last week.
"Together we have done some really good stuff starting with Aamir and then Dev.D and Udaan. And we hope to repeat the same with Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana," Anurag said in a statement.
The plot revolves around quirks of a Punjabi joint family.
"Luv Shuv... maintains delicate balance of humour and emotion throughout," Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, said.
The film will mark the directorial debut of Sameer Sharma and will have Kunal Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in lead roles. The film is slated for release in mid-2012.Dev.D and Udaan. And we hope to repeat the same with Luv Shuv Tey
