Famous as she is for herenviably long, dark hair, Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsalehas shocked fans by turning bottle blonde.
The Pearl Harbor star was seen sporting the new haircolour as she left Los Angeles' LAX Airport on Friday.
The 37-year-old British actress was almostunrecognisable with the new summery style, which left herlooking more like a Hollywood starlet than ever, reportedDaily Mail.
It's the first time Beckinsale has changed the colourof her brunette hair apart from in film roles.
The actress teamed her new hair with a pretty greenbeaded maxi dress, mirrored aviator sunglasses and a creamwoollen cardigan as she walked through the airport withdaughter Lily and husband Len Wiseman.
However, it's not the first time she has tried out theblonde look, as she also sported lighter locks when shestarred opposite Guy Pearce in 2008 movie Winged Creatures.
And while Beckinsale looked happy enough with her newlook, she will have to dye her hair back to it's dark colourwhen she starts shooting new movie Underworld 4: New Dawn inMarch.
She plays vampire warrior Selene in the filmfranchise, a role which requires her to take on a darkerappearance with black hair and tight catsuit outfits.
