London:
Actress Kate Bosworth panicked while shooting a rape scene with co-star Alexander Skarsgard for a new film, saying that the simulated sexual assault felt "incredibly violating and terrifying".
The 28-year-old actress plays Amy, a woman who is raped by Skarsgard's character Charlie, in the upcoming remake of the 1971 psychological thriller Straw Dogs. Bosworth has opened up about working with Skarsgard, who later became her real-life boyfriend, admitting she felt shaken after shooting the violent scene, reported Contactmusic.
"I told Alex not to worry about me, to just go for it. I said, 'I need you to lose yourself in this moment.' "And it was actually violent. He's a huge guy. When he was ripping off my clothes in front of a room filled with men, even though I knew it was make-believe, it was stillincredibly violating and terrifying. The panic you see flooding me in that rape scene is real," said Bosworth. Bosworth and Skarsgard were said to have called off their relationship earlier this year.
